The new Licensing and Technology Development office has been created through the consolidation of the Office of Technology Transfer, Homewood campus and the Licensing and Business Development, School of Medicine.

The primary goal of the University's office of Licensing and Technology Development is to ensure rapid transfer of Hopkins' innovations to the private sector where these discoveries can be developed for the public benefit. In order to achieve this goal, we have developed intellectual property protection policies and licensing practices consistent with our responsibility to the public, the University and its faculty.
